Mid-course Correction...Kingfisher

Hard to believe how fast these little guys can change direction, a real challenge to follow them in the viewfinder. I searched out a good place to locate myself and just settled in for an hour or so shooting the action hoping for the best.

One of the best KF shots I’ve ever seen and this is one of the hardest birds to shoot on a perch, in flight the difficultly is so hard this shot is beyond amazing

I have tried to shoot these little buggers, they are too fast for me, especially at 850mm. My shots usually had a part of the foot in the frame.

Great shot with a nice eye and background. Kingfishers hate us so this had to have been hard to get. Great colors on the little guy too.
