Middle School Softball

Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by Django, Apr 18, 2007.

  1. A few from my daughters softball game this evening. Cloudy overcast sky
Was up to ISO 800 to get a decent shutter speed with the 70-200VR wide open:frown:

These are good...Like the desperation in the eyes of the batter..
1 and 2 are really good also..I must try some softball soon.

  3. Thank's Rod,
This was our first game of the season. As you can tell by the girls wrapped in blankets it is still very cold here in Michigan!

Not bad at all. As mentioned, tightening the shots can improve the look. Don't be afraid to turn the camera from horizontal to vertical to capture certain plays.

  6. These look good. Agree, tighter crops and you nailed it.

  7. Thanks for the advice everyone!
