Milky way as seen from Nebraska

This is a photo of the milky way as seen from the Nebraska Star Party this past July. This has become an annual trip for me each summer. The stars shine bright enough to actually cast a shadow as you walk around the sandhills prairie.

Beautiful sky! Are there some interesting foregrounds in the area to use when photographing the milky way?

Very nice sky Brad. Here in New England (near the Boston area) we see very little.
It's too bad really. It is as beautiful as anything on our planet to look at a truly dark sky. Thank you for commenting.
