MLS Soccer Seattle at Philly

I covered the MLS game between the Sounders and the Union at PPL Park in Chester, PA yesterday. the game was played in some really nasty weather, torrential rain, wind, thunder and such. The Sounders tied the game in stoppage time in the second half for a final score of 1-1. All shots with he D3 an the 300 2.8 with 1.4 tele.

Hi Mike, some great captures!, here's my take on the bunch!. Kind regards Graham.

#1 great capture but would have cut off at the waist if not a full image.
#2 I don't normaly agree with "backs" but this works to an extent!
#3 Nice image, would have been better full frame IMHO
#4 great capture
#5 great cele, well done on focusing on the coach etc.
#6 Nice Sportrait
#7 good capture but would have been outstanding if there was a ball!
#8 Another nice spotrait
#9 Great action perhaps a slightly tighter crop?
#10 Ditto with the sportrait theme
#11 Nice but a fraction too late IMHO
#12 great image but I think a tighter crop?

AAA Mike! You def kick butt on soccer shooting.

Not sure I'd have stayed out in that rain shooting on spec. Not that I dont trust my rain gear...but I'd rather not trust my rain gear unless I really have to :biggrin: That said, the rain shots do give a nice variation from the normal soccer stuff. Well done sir!
