In the spring of 2018, I took a trip to visit sites along I-40 in the Mojave Desert of California. There are some interesting sights to see.

Thanks Klaus. One day, I'd like to drive and photograph the entire route.

Wow great set

1,2,5,6,7, 8 are my favs
Thanks Randy!

Beautiful set of images. I really like the way you've captured the feeling of the simpler time.
Thank You Andy!

Very nice...so I am assuming you gelled some flash units to light those interiors?

Glenn
Thanks Glenn. You're right about the lighting. I used a sb-800 with a gel and popped it a few times after triggering the shutter. For the cabins, I took one shot for each of the cabins and blended in Photoshop.

Great series. #6 is my favorite..
Thank you!

Fascinating series
Thanks Bob, there are a lot of fascinating places in the desert.

Thanks everyone.

I really enjoyed all of them, so well done!
Thank you Andreas.

Great group of images. Good eye picking the subjects you captured. 2,3,5,6,8 are my favorites. The only thing I don't like is the noise in the sky of the first one.
Thanks Allan. I wanted the image to have an analog feel to it, so I added some noise to it. It may not work for everyone.

These are fantastic! I especially love the lighting and colors.
Thanks so much Terri.

How in the world did I overlook this very creative, enjoyable set? Well done!
Thank You Mike!
