Monitor Decision... Again...

When I got home yesterday from work, I found I had lost one of my Viewsonic 19' CRT monitors. I was using two of them with a dual video card. I had been thinking of replacing them with two 20" Squarescreen or two 22" Widescreens LCDs but still would have the dual monitor calibration issue. I have settled on getting a 24" Widescreen for photo editing and a 20" Squarescreen for net surfing and everything else. The Ezio and LaCie are a bit out of range so I am looking at a NEC 2470 and 2070 combination. I also saw some HP monitors looked pretty good in the store, possibly a HP 2465 and 2065 combination. The NECs have great reviews but I have never seen them. So who is using NEC, HP?
What are the thoughts?
Thanks
Pete

Why not invest in a good photo editing monitor? Yes, they're expensive, but this would be a good time. You don't necessarily need a color accurate monitor for viewing information on the web. Generally speaking it's best to keep your monitors roughly the same size. You can calibrate dual monitors, BTW, if you have two video cards.

Will Crockett from Smart Shooter suggests two, the LaCie 324 (out of stock until September) and the 22 inch, Eizo Coloredge 222W.

Beezle told me he's very happy with his Dell 2408WFP.
That might be another choice.

Thanks Virginia,
That is what I am trying to do. I will look again at the Ezio and LaCie now that I know which models to look at. The Dell seems interesting too.
