Monitor Hood for Asus VW246H

Hi,
I am looking to purchase a monitor hood for my Asus VW246H Monitor. The problem I seem to be running into is that they come down to far to fit the monitor, as it will hit the desk. I was wondering if anyone found a hood that will fit.

How about a DIY approach? Could use black foamcore or any other material
