Exploring many parts of northern CA and so far I love Monterey and the drive on CA route I from Monterey to Big Sur the most for sightseeing. Just make sure that you bring enough memory and battery... I didn't:mad:
These are in Monterey
I got lucky with this one

Really wonderful images!!

And I am SOOOOOO jealous!! We drove Cal 1 from Vandenberg AFB to Monterey last May ('06) and it was foggy, cold, and the roads were under construction for miles at a time!! As we were driving our Jaguar S-Type R .. we had been really looking forward to a GREAT ride and some GREAT scenery!!

Glad you obviously had better fortune!!

Cheers!!

One of the most beautiful drives a person will ever take. In fact, I am headed that direction in about two weeks for a liesurely jaunt down the coast... looking forward to the fresh seafood as much as the photo ops! Nice shots!

I was just up there this past weekend... Had severe clear skies the whole day we drove PCH down from Carmel and back.. Only got to one of the bridges along the road...

Nice shots on a few of them...

Nice pictures of my back yard  I must say you have taken some spectacular photos, and I recognize a few. The wife and I travel Hwy 1 at least once a month.

If you are down by Big Sur, I really recomend a resteraunt called Nepenthe's really good food that won't break your wallet. Also check out Hurst Castle  you will not be disapointed.

Brian,
Lucky you living in such a beautiful area! I plan to finish up Route I from Big Sur to further south next time and will remember your recommendations.
Thanks

Hey Trung! Nice photos. Kinda fun driving those winding roads looking out the side window ain't it?
Man, I could feel my adrenaline rush through while driving that day! but it's not that bad compare to the one from Golden Gate national park to Santa Rosa.

Exceptional Trung! Very nice work and sense of opportunity from you! I must visit that place one day.

Beautiful images. Recognize most of them. Love that area. Was down in Carmel a few weeks ago.

Now is the time to visit. July and August can be chilly and foggy but September and October is more like summer here... As much as summer can be on the coast...
