Moon #3

    Tired of this yet? :shock:

    1/8@f20 1000mm using the surveyors tripod. Still no MLU as my remote won't be here until tommorow. I don't know if I can get any more detail out of this lens.

  2. Realizing this is not a full moon, it looks distorted, almost egg shaped. And then the top half does not looks as sharp as the bottom half.

    Top part was well lit and I think that lowered the contrast, since the sun had not fully set. This image was rotated from portrait to landscape. I got my remote today so I will try again tonight using MLU. Maybe I did not have the moon centered and I lost some sharpness at the edges.

    Hmmmm.... Things to think about before tonights attempt.
