Moonset just after sunset

From the Rockies, about 25 miles from my house. The sun set, and then the moon was not far behind.

Thanks everyone. It was the only interesting light of the weekend. Digital is great for those of us who are just winging it. Shoot, chimp, adjust, shoot again...

#2 is a great capture. I love moon rises.

Locally the moon is more orange at the horizon, must be city particulate in the atmoshere

I just got a 70-300 and I'm impressed
