More Dog Agility

Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by RKnecht, Sep 19, 2008.

  1. I've been very busy processing pictures from these past 2 weeks. However, I thought I'd share a few from a recent show. On Saturday of the show, we had the rain from Hana come through. t made for some interesting shots. Shooting in sideways rain is always fun:eek:

On Sunday, it cleared up and made for a beautiful day for shooting. On the teeter, the goal is for the dog to be on the yellow contact zone AND for the teeter to hit the ground before the dog moves on to the next obstacle. Here are a couplr "Whoops!":

And finally, I couldn't let you go without a picture of the obligatory rasta dog

All of the above were taken with the D3 and 300 2.8 or 70-200 VR/1.4 TC combo.

I'm told Rich is actually using a new AF firmware that Nikon has worked up called 3D Furball Recognition
  14. Now that's funny. Funny thing is, that now the D3 i was using for that show is back at Nikon for an LCD screen issue and a focus issue. I'll just have to post the next set from the D2x.

Thanks for all the kind remarks folks. I really enjoy sharing these.
