  2. Frank,

Great job! I really like the shots like #8 which show a formation--especially with the boats in the foreground.

I wish I could have been there...
  3. Wow those are sharp. When you've got it, you've got it....and you got it.

If the Air and Water show was this past weekend, then our Green Bay trip must have been a year ago this past weekend. Time flys...no pun intended.
  4. So nice and clean Frank!

I've been off my game this year, not a single show after doing four last year. It's rare to see a B2 and you got a great shot of it in perfect light.

  6. nice work indeed!
  7. all great Frank, but like Glenn #8 is really cool.
  8. Great shots Frank. It was good meeting you and Tony to shoot the show.

I hope you don't mind me adding some of my photos to your thread.

    1. I'll start off with a photo that no one else has :)
That's Frank on the left and Tony on the right.

    2. Here a shot of the announcer's area:

    3. And one that gives a sense of the huge crowd that attended the show:

    4. Got lucky with this one (F/A-18 Hornet):

    5. F-15 Eagle:

    6. F-22 Raptor:

    7. Legacy flight (P-51 Mustang, F-4 Phantom, F-15 Eagle, F-22 Raptor):

    8. Low pass from a Blue Angel!

    9. And finally, a (deliberate) close call:

All photos taken with the Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 DG with a Sigma 1.4x TC.

If anyone wants to see more photos from the show, they are here:

Nice shooting Jerric, you captured some beautiful shots of those aircraft.
  10. Great going, guys. I'd love to have been in Chicago for this one. Frank...looks like you've carried over your tried and true sports formula to the planes....super high shutter speeds. I've tried to emulate this approach, often sacrificing a bit of ISO to do so. They really are sharp! Congratulations!
  11. awesome thread...
