Update, 2nd set of pics here:
https://www.nikoncafe.com/vforums/showpost.php?p=2007454&postcount=11

Hi Guys,

Would love some C & C on these, any tips which might help me improve, for example, if these guys were wedding guests etc. All taken yesterday on Edinburgh's Royal Mile, Festival Time! :D

Restricted myself to 70 to 300mm, F 5-ish.

Those are beautiful, it looks like a fun festival.

We went to Edinburgh once for New Years Eve, I remember that it was such a beautiful city, I was pleasantly surprised by that. You're lucky to live in such a wonderful place,

Howdy Gary,

We also had the opportunity to visit your wonderful city several years ago, we both just smile when ever we hear the Name.

Your Portraits are simply stunning, great crispness of detail, beautiful color rendition, and excellent composure and composition. The expressions that you've captured are very pleasing and draw the viewer in, a trait not often accomplished.

I'd say you hit everything just right, and whatever endeavor you choose to shoot, if you have results like these whoever they are for will be Thrilled!!!

Very Nicely Done!!!!

My fav is #2. Very thoughtful composition. Excellent shots - it looks like a fun festival. I'm hoping to visit Scotland next year. Cheers!
