    Randy,the best Osprey shots ever. I have been photographing Ospreys at a local lake, also with a 300/f4 {at about eighty yards.} What was your approx. distance from the nest?

    the nests are on top of shoal markers in the middle of the lake so we were very close

    Thats incredible.
    It is hard to believe they have build so low.

    I am not even going to shoot anymore this year....
    Mine even at 600 look like sparrows in comparison

  17. there are hundreds on the lake and thousands of GBH-s
    ducks, geese, you name it
    there's even an island that is off limits from 4/1 to 8/31 for GBH nesting....it's a federal wildlife refugee
