a slow morning with a lot of boring empty blue sky shots, but it is what it is :)

Nice set, Brian. Good shooting on some fast movers. I like the kestrel. That's one on my TBD list.

Thank you Dan, hope you get your chance soon, they are like a kingfisher, next to impossible to get close to

Great set.
Thank you Nick

All nice. I was playing around with a Kingfisher today but couldn't get close at all. Your shots are awesome.
Thank you Bill, i can not get within a country mile of one perched :)

Great set Brian..Nush and I were out at the marsh a couple of mornings ago and pickings were slim...Love the kestrel shot - so hare to do! And the kingfisher we need to run across this one on Friday to see what the new equipment can do
Thank you Bob...i was really surprised at how slow the marsh is, there are not even that many tree swallows there as there has been in the past, i wanted mainly to see what songs birds were about and to try and get some tree swallows in flight, there were more tree swallows across the river at the bird banding place, close to the road away from the river as they have swallow boxes set up all over

just after i got to the marsh i met a couple guys that just came off of the beach and they said there was nothing there but one sparrow, if it wasn't for the kingfisher entertaining me for about an hour and the white throated sparrows the place would of been a bust, sure hope warbler season isn't this slow
