Got my shoes and trousers soaking wet but it was worth it
D300, 60mm AF-S
Wow, these are shockingly good!!!
Stunning images, nicely done
just WOW!!! yes, they were worth the wet shoes and clothes
I love them, great work.
What lens was this?
Wow those are amazing but that fly is CREEPY!
Robert these (and this) were all taken with the 60mm AF-S crouching down in the long grass at the parkland around Alexandra Palace very early on Sunday morning, pop-up flash and hand held.
Beautiful shots ! Well worth the wet clothes.
Love that robberfly. Very cool.
Thank you Torben. The fly was completely torpid and I was able to hold the blade of grass for the best angle. Any ideas for the id of the Mirid bug in the last?
No, never seen that one before. It looks interesting though. I think Harry can ID it.
I really like the first one. The green (what is that) against the very dark background with all the dew is splendid.
wownice, how many focusing stacks u used for these
Thank you Kelly. It's a Shieldbug.
No focus stacking on these. ( I didn't know what focus stacking was before now!)
