Thank you Gale. This structure is the Biosphere, a museum on the St. Lawrence River habitat, located on St Helen Island, in Montreal. It is from the architect Buckminster Fuller and was initially the USA pavilion at the 1967 Montreal Expo World Exhibition.
Lit from the inside, it makes a fantastic photographic subject in the night.
Another in a series of interesting shots of the biosphere. Well done and appropriate title.

This looks a lot to me like the Epcot Center in Florida. This may be where Disney got the idea for the Epcot Center.
I also really enjoy the colors in the picture.
