Motilla Poppies

    Sabina, I took this shot with the 70-200VR with the 17IIE TC. I heard a hawk's cry and thought I'd see if I could find it. I didn't!

    This shot consisted of a couple of layers. I created the background by doing a gaussian blur on the original image. Then I extracted the poppies and placed them on the background image. The muted background comes from the blur in my digital darkroom.
