Mountain laurel with my new 50 f/1.8

  4. Nice Pa. What camera are you using? I bet you live in an environment full of Photo ops. maybe we can do a shoot together sometime.
     
  5. Thanks for the kind words. The picture was made with a D70.

    Yes, these past few weeks have presented many photo ops for Spring Wildflowers. Our woods are full of blooming laurel and flame azalea at the moment.

    The 50mm f/1.8 does produce noticeably sharper images than the 18-70 lens that came with the camera.

  7. Nice shot of a pretty plant. Never saw the like before, but the European flora naturally has to be a bit different.
