I took a drive up into Rocky Mountain National Park recently. I didn't get off the road too far this trip but had a nice time giving my new D800 a workout. Going from a D200 to the 800, it is almost shocking to me to look at these full scale...

Here are some shots from the day. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Regards,

Chris

Beautiful set! And that 'old' 80-200 performs perfect on the new body!
Thank you, Rob.

I'm pleased with the 80-200 f/2.8 D800 combination. I know I'm not using the premium glass that is said to get the most out of the D800. But the way I look at it, I'm using a fantastic body that gives me superior results compared to my old D200.

You're completely right Chris. I use the 70-300 for my needs and I'm satisfied.
I also have the 80-200 F3.5, but that one is very old...
