Move NX2 ThumbnailCache?

Thanks for the explanation.

If you use a batch file, as per my other post, which is pointng to the original cache file, it will delete just those cache files, even when you've mapped it to another drive, an will leave all other files in that drive untouched.

So it seems we have a workaround:

1. map the cache to another drive as already suggested
2. if you want, use a batch file to empty the cache folder either by clicking on it, or by putting a shortcut to it in the Startup folder.

Update on this procedure:

I bought a 16Gb USB 3.0 Flash Drive (Thumb Drive) to use in one of the USB 3.0 SS inputs on my new computer.

The Flash Drive came formatted for FAT32 so I re-formatted NTFS.

I then mounted this drive to my NX2.3 ThumbnailCache folder and it works just fine.

Deleting the Thumbnail Cache works OK and NX2.3 (64 Bit) opens super fast.

I don't see this as a permanent arrangement and don't intend to remove the Flash Drive for any reason (I have other Flash Drives) but it works.

Any thoughts???
