Movie editing software

I'm a picture taker, not a movie maker. But, alas, my D90 does video and my new D7000 will too (when it gets here).

I use Lightroom and would like a movie editing application that will integrate with it. I don't need super-professional features...just the simple stuff. Say, what LR does for photos...not as much as CS5 but enough to get you by.

Any suggestions? How about Premiere Elements?

Thanks in advance.

I like Cyberlink's PowerDirector. Ive used it quite a bit with great results, and their website has a TON of tutorial videos showing how to do just about anything you would want..

Just found a link for it...

http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector/overview_en_US.html

They do seem to have a free trial - I am not sure if that is limited by time (e.g. 30-day trial), or if it puts some sort of watermark on the videos before you purchase a license. I have seen free movie editing software do either.

EDIT: And this is the section I was referring to that has TONS of videos explaining how to do just about anything you would want:

The problem there, since they have so many videos, is actually finding what you are looking for.
