MSN will not open, error message, reload??

Hi guys, I had an incident today and MSN Email closed on me and will not open,
I have this corrupt file error.
msn archive: checksum mismatch in file themedef. mar: partly_sunny.imc

My bit of net search, Major geeks, implies it may be a DLL error ?? what ever that is and maybe related to and Iomega HD, and maybe a reload of XP is in order. Any thoughts before I screw something up.

My first thought is to restore my computer a few days back.

Thanks, but this has been resolved now, and MSN has been reloaded, three times now.
Seems to be a flaw somewhere, will switch to another user and move files if it goes down again.
