I have been at this spot a few times, but got lucky to get a Mirrored lake for this shot recently.
due to the moon phase at 45%, the Milky Way is not as bright as I would wish.
But I am happy with the image due to the reflections of the mountain and stars, on the water of the lake.

thanks... I was the only person there for this shot, and you had to hike in and hike out which was around midnite on the way out.
it would be better if there was no moon, the milky way would have been much brighter, but you have to take what you can in the PNW as a cloud free/wind free day may not come again this summer.. you never know.. actually this nite at 9pm it clouded over, but the forecast I had was for 11pm, for mostly clear.. so I waited with fingers crossed and at 11pm it cleared and this shot is around midnite.
