Mt. Rainier @ Sunrise (Washington State- USA)

a buddy and I drove up for Fall Colors and arrived with Fog all the way to the ground.
What can you do, as the forecast was for clear but Mountains this tall, make their own weather.
Not the first time it has happened.

But just as the sun rose, the fog started to clear and we got BEAUTY!

D850, Tamron 24-70, 3 shot bracket, dropped into Aurora HDR.
