Each year I hike out to a spot on Mt. Rainer for the Milky way Magic that happens.
while this year it was cold, in the mid 40's last nite with a cool breeze, we had a good time.

Wow... such beautiful comments. Thank you.
this location, I do not share on my local Photo group page as its getting a bit too popular and too many people out there. Even on Tuesday evening when we went, what 3 years ago would be just me and any friends whom came.. is not.. too many people , so I need to find a new place to go for next year.

Wonderful sky and that house with its lit windows adds to the magic by looking like some moon module which has landed in the lunar landscape at a crazy angle.

that is a Fire look out on Mt. Rainier.. its not used as an Official look out but Park rangers many times occupy the look out.

Wonderful shot. I wish I was still mobile enough to get to spots like that!!

We're going to spend a night next week at the Paradise Inn (for my birthday) and are really hoping to walk around a lot at/after sundown and in the morning. Praying for nice weather!!

Thanks for sharing!!

Ken
