Oops, must have been on of those days I had my "dirty glasses" on! LOL - I used to own the 24-85G and it, too, is an excellent lens.

Yeah I sometimes have the same problem, & it's always my dirty glasses...
The 24-85G is one of my go to lenses for general shots. I'm still very surprised at how sharp it is and it's such a small, light weight lens.
