I started shooting mushrooms.... just started "testing". I am so surprised that there is scarcely a photo in the web depicting spores ... OK, I found one or two poor quality shots. I know only one Japanese photographer (Hani) who took mushroom spore photos. He has an excellent photo book. Hani is the first and foremost authority on nature photography. This is an extremely difficult area of nature photo, technically. Again, pictures I am posting here are just a technical test....
The whole, and only, purpose of "mushroom" is for the dispersal of "spores" for these fungi guys. So why take pictures of mushrooms without "spores" raining down like a violent storm in a moist forest in the early morning!!! It is a spectacle of nature!
