We've had a very dry summer with even the weeds resisting growth. However, after the rains of this past week, these popped up in one of my pastures. Their rate of growth always amazes me -- one day nothing, the next these 8 to 10-in. umbrellas.

  2. Those are some amazing looking mushrooms. How they can grow that fast is beyond me.

  3. Those are very nice looking.

  4. What would happen if you ate some of 'em?

Thanks Gilles -- they were big enough for me to see, and they were not moving very quickly -- my criteria.
Justin, I'll leave the taste testing to you. The only ones I'll touch are the morels.
Frank, I don't think you'd want my 70-300G -- maybe Justin will volunteer his equipment just before he tries these.
    Thanks for looking guys.
