My 35-70 is fried. What to do? WAIT, an idea!

Discussion in 'Lens Lust' started by Czechman01, Aug 7, 2005.

  1. Huge shoot this Saturday and my weapon of choice in the Studio is my 35-70 2.8... which has suddenly started "clunking" when tipped back and forth. Quick test shows serious back-focusing. Thank goodness for 5-year warranties, but there's no way I'll have it back in time.

Guess I'll have to take my medicine and suffer yet another collosal blow to my Credit Card and get the 28-70 f2.8.

Somebody stop me before I hurt myself.

Then when you 35-70 gets back, sell it and recoup some of the loss. There, that wasn't so bad, was it?

  4. Thanks for the good idea! Next time I lust for a new lens, I'll tell Nancy the old one has to go back to Nikon for repair .
