My anal D2X detail shot

Discussion in 'Birds' started by hillrg, Apr 3, 2005.

  1. If you are going for detail you might as well shoot a sitting duck from 20 feet - right? D2X + 500/4 + TC14EII + SB800.

    Very nice and sharp
It is shots and crops like this that make me lust the D2X I like both the cropability factor and the HSC mode really interests me as a way to add reach without sacrificing fstops

  5. Nice detail Rory!! Way to go!! :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

  6. One thing though, while the camera and lens can get you the goods, you sure have to get everything right. I have found out that I can screw up a shot just as well with the D2X as any other camera - maybe even easier.

  7. Sweet! You can see yourself in the pupil!

  8. Very cool Rory, phenomenal detail! Funny I did a similar shot
