A picture of "the boss", taken a few days ago. Not posed, just caught her reading near some glass doors (natural light).
D1x / AF Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 @ 1/50 (!), f/4.5.
A (very slight) touch of softening up in PS (hey, she'll hit the Big five-oh this year - givvur a break already!!).
I love this kind of shot......

The natural light is very nice and the slight gausian blur on the skin really makes this a very nice image. Of course it would be nowhere without your lovely wife.

Very nice shot...and an even lovlier lady. With that type of subject, I bet you get lots of practice and a ton of great shots.

Frits,

Great photograph.

Your wife: "Our family is doomed. Our father is spending all his money on Nikon gadgets. What are we going to do ?".

Well done :)

Such a nice shot...Being a redhead myself, I know that natural light is one of the most flattering sources to be photographed in...your shot is warm and soft...altogether a very nice shot.

Very lovely portrait shot, Frits. A nice glow, excellent angle and I like the softening. I'm impressed that at almost forty-ten, she's not wearing glasses to read!! LOL
