  1. I was fortunate enough to get a pass for my first visit to a MotoGP weekend. Here are some of my efforts:

Roll on July 2010 and Laguna Seca!!

    Cheers

    Tony

  2. Great set of photo's, 4 ain't bad either!!!, how close did you manage to get?

  3. Cheers!

There are some spots were you are only a few feet from the bikes, such as the exit from the Melbourne Loop. My 300mm with 1.4x converter was just about enough thanks to the 1.5 crop factor of the D300 and D2Xs.

  4. Nice pics Tony . . . I ended up watching from home . :frown:, Great racing all the same . .
Dont suppose you got any of the Thundersport surport race . . ?

  5. Cheers Jason!

I headed into the media centre after the races and qualifying and missed all of the support races I'm afraid.

    Love the shots Tony!
Especially the great subject isolation on them looks fantastic!

At those speeds can autofocus keep up or do you set up a 'focus zone' and shoot when the bikes are in the zone?

#3 at full lean is my favorite..
    #6 nice wheelie capture...
#8 look where you want to go....
