Midget (my 15 year old daughter) is suffering from 2 stress fractures, so her x-country season is shut down. She asked if I'd still shoot her meets and if she could use my equipment to shoot 4 herself. How could I say no?

These are shot by Midget, with my D300 and 70-200. I did the editing. (next lesson)

Critique away!

1). She did a good job of focusing on her Marian teammate...

She's done a bit in the past, and follows directions well. But remember these are the keepers!

Probably better over all than mine

I'd say a Midget is an upgrade to a Leprechaun!!

Tell her she did a good job of getting the shots, the body positioning is good, and the backgrounds aren't bad at all either.
She's good, you don't suck.

Very cool Tim. I bet you are very proud of your daughter. Too bad her season was cut short.

I used to love shooting my son's XC (and track) in HS and college.
He's an assistant coach now at the HS he graduated from.
I should go shoot 'his' team.
