Just doing more testing of my little "vacation lens" mounted to my D70. This was taken at 1/40th sec @200mm using my 28-200g lens. It's not super crispy sharp, but is it pretty acceptable? (also ran a little Grain Surgery on it).

Steve,

In this small crop, it looks pretty good to my unexpert eye.... 8) Fairly sharp and contrasty.

Hi Steve,

That's one of the cutest puppers ever :!:

Now please give us her/his name..it looks like a 'her' hairdo

That lens will serve you well especially in Florida in the bright sun.. You wouldn't believe how sunny it is down here already.

Her name's "Bunny"

and beleive it or not, she's actually going to be THREE in a couple more months! Re the 28-200G, I agree that it does need some decent sunlight to work at all well with the lower ISOs. I've had ample time to experiment lately under abismal conditions, and I've had to keep it at all times @ISO800 for just barely enough shutter at max zoom.
Here's kind of a dumb fun macro I was fooling around with this afternoon. Shot from 18in away @200mm:

Good to see Bunny still loves to pose for you Steve. She's certainly photogenic and I think you do a fine job of bringing that out.
