My eccentric Leica M3...

Discussion in 'Film Forum' started by Removed User 2, Mar 24, 2007.

  1. This is one of my 3 Leicas I will be selling soon. This Baby steals the show wherever it goes...

  2. Saw it on RFF and she's a beauty.

And here I thought I was the only person who hooked both ends of the strap to the same side. Nice cam Ned! That has got to be the coolest of any camera on the site, especially the slots in the hood.

How much shall this baby cost?
  5. Of course!

An F5 or D2H/X is better hanging from both sizes, but such a small camera is much better hanging from 1 side. Also faster to grip in the ehat of the actin IMO :)

No idea. I believe in the 1200$ range but this is just a wild guess...
  6. It's beautiful! Don't sell it, you may regret.

Here, here. I hang my OM1 from the right side around my neck like a talisman. It looks all shiny, I blend right in (not!) and it's perfectly placed for one handed grab-shots. I just started doing that about a year ago!

Good luck with your sale! Why not sell it here, cause I know some of our Leicaphiles would go into a fit over that gem!
  8. I still don't know what price to ask for...!

Fifty bucks? Just kidding! It's really tough with rare items like that, because there are few benchmarks.

Ned, that is a very beautiful camera, and It's hard to imagine someone putting it to better use than you do.
