I brought a wide angle lens to the beach this morning in case I did not see shorebirds. Well, I did not see shorebirds so I went back to the car to switch the telephoto setup for a wide angle. I wish the light was better but I did get a chance to stack.
I set up the camera for 40 shots at a 2 interval. Only 9 shots were needed to reach infinity.

The closeup section is tack sharp. That is where I focused (obviously.) The distant trees not so much, but acceptable. I wonder if having the focus point on the center made a difference?

Richard, that was a group of birds that accidentally got caught in the frame. Perhaps the software (Helicon) takes the birds from 1 frame. There was a single bird in the frame that showed up as a blur (from several images) that I cloned out.
