My first "Bird" Post

Discussion in 'Birds' started by AnnS, Jan 3, 2006.

  1. I tried the d200 tonight at iso 1600 handheld, 1/8th, The only thing I did in PS was adjust the levels as the background wall looked yellow. It's not the best as I really don't understand the camera yet,
    but got to start somewhere.
I was happily surprised it showed up not too bad.

It looks pretty darned good to me.

I can't believe that this is ISO1600. Incredible. BTW, you left off the .jpg on your image link. I added it for you.

Hope you dont mind Ann, I cut and pasted the exif info. For ISO 1600, handheld at 1/8th, thats impressive! No noise reduction in camera or software, wowzer! The bad news is you have now set the bar
Phoenix is one of the family? Thanks for sharing, look forward to seeing more!

Wow. Nice - eighth of a second!?! What lens - vr? Regardless, it's remarkably sharp for such an extended shutter time!
