What a beautiful tribute to a very deserving patriot! Each image tells an important part of his - and our - history. Well done!

A tear comes to my eye when I think of what he went through. Truly a hero that your pictures show in every sense of the word. Thanks bro and thanks Sam.

Fantastic tribute photographs, Steve. Love the KA-BAR and the shot of the hands. Are you going to go back and get some more shots and hang out with your pal? I for one would like to see more pictures and learn more about Sam.

Steve, you know how much I admire these photos from the b&w forum where I first saw them, but I'm very happy to see these glorious colour versions.

A great photographer behind the lens, a great man in front of it - how can they fail to be inspiring?

Tremendous, fabulous, beautiful.
