Harley boy is a 2+ year old Sheltie. He is my friend.
Awwww.... And what a friend indeed! We had two but that was a long time ago. They're the best dogs. Very nice!
Beautiful Friend Gordon,

Perfect use of available backlighting and undetectable fill flash, except for the catchlights Love his glowing halo!
Thanks Keven, they really are good dogs and so smart as well.
Hi Gale, thanks for the compliment.
Gee thanks for your kind words. I have passed on your pat to Harley.
Thanks, we just took a quick shot out in the backyard last night. Actually I was getting ready for a small wedding shoot which I did this morning.
Hi Steve, I think it is easier on dogs than it is on people. I appreciate your compliments.
I like the way you choose your friends. He is an intelligent looking young dog. Great, grat picture too, I am so partial to dogs I almost forgot!
Thanks Dave, Shelties are very intelligent dogs and they are fun to work with. Appreciate you comments.

Dawg, it takes one to know one. Thanks.
What a lovely companion you have here! He seems to smile, doesn't he? Must be really smart too...
I too spotted the backlighting with fill flash: nicely done! 8)
Hi Phillipe, I will pass you comments on to Harley. Patty (Suluki13) has this backlit technique down to a science, I am just a neophyte.
