My last birds

Discussion in 'Birds' started by woundedmallard, Aug 20, 2008.

  1. Hey Everybirdy,

It is with absolutely no sadness that I announce my final bird images........from my D200!:tongue::biggrin:
Had ditched one body, with the intention of saving a little to get the D300, but a friend made an offer on my second body enabling me to order my new toy.
So here they is, the final D200 avian offerings:

    From the Brevard Zoo

And the last Florida Scrub-jay shot with my D200 was this juvenile- in a couple more weeks it will be nearly impossible to tell them apart from the adults

Nice Thomas, why are you not out shooting with the 300 today?
  8. Definitely a move in the right direction with the D300. But haven't said that these are very nice.
  9. I like that scrub jay. The image fits its name.
  10. I actually was John, wasn't nothing to shoot in my neck of the woods, mothing I'd post anyway- it's a bit windy and wet over here at the moment thanks to "Fay".
Going to shoot a model condomnium tomorrow though!
  11. Thanks Louie, Allan. Been putting off the D300, but being able to unload both of my D200's inside of 2 weeks sure helped.
Can't wait to break it in out on the refuge!
