I decided to take the D500 with 200-500mm lens out for my morning walk.

Another wonderful variety of birds! That local area must provide a nice habitat for quite a few species! The New Holland honeyeater is a handsome bird!

Thank you. The New Holland Honeyeater's are plentiful in our area and make good practice for birding.

In a word, "amazing"
Thank you

Beautiful set.
Very colorful birds with nice details.
Well done. :)
Thank you

Here are a few more from the next morning's walk in the reserve.

Wow, well done!
That Spotted Pardalote is a most distinctive bird—even among all those other distinctive birds!
Thank you

The Pardalote's are a lovely bird, and are also one of our smallest.

Some info from Wikipedia
"The spotted pardalote is one of the smallest of all Australian birds at 8 to 10 centimetres in length, and one of the most colourful; it is sometimes known as the diamondbird."
