I went for a Sunday Morning walk today in the park at the back of my house. I had with me my D810 and Zeiss 135 F2 APO. I set the Camera at 1/640s, f5.6 and auto ISO for handheld shots and started to look for interesting subjects: a dog, some ducks a few flowers, then I came across this:

After taking the shot handheld, I started to walk back home to change lenses to my Nikkor AFD IF ED 200mm F4 Micro, then I had a thought and turned back and plucked the Mushroom from the ground and took it home. I have no idea what species it is and I have never seen one before. The stem was hollow and the whole thing was incredibly light as if it was made from whipped egg white. Anyway I took it home and set up the tripod with the Zeiss set at 1/1000s, f5.6 ISO 200. Both shots are as they came from the Camera, no post processing, just converted from NEF to JPEG.

Now all I need is a Caption?

Any Suggestions?
