Over the last year or so I've had the dreaded photography blues but this year the love has returned …. so I haven't posted photos on here for quite awhile so I hope these will work …

Picked up a new Z6 last week and had to try it at a zoo to see just how the focus actually works …. paired it with a Sigma 100-400mm and though I intend to use my D500 for wildlife and birds I was pleasantly pleased with this combo …

Very nice images. So the Sigma works with with the ftz adapter, that's great. Unfortunately my Tamron macro doesn't.

Yeh the Sigma works quite well with the adapter … I also have a Tamron 150-600mm G2 that unfortunately didn't work with the z6... I know thru the TAP adapter you can update it for the z6 but I can't see spending $ 60 since I''ll use that on my D500 anyways ...

Hmm I guess I'll have to look into that to see if my macro can be updated.
