Update - Well ,the contest is nearing it's end. This has been an interesting experience, from which I learned a LOT. I will post about that later. I have recently discovered that the Gifford Homestead (in photo) will be celebrating it's 100 year anniversary next year. Wouldn't it be neat for them if they could be featured in the calendar! Congratulations, Christine! Yours was indeed an outstanding image, no two ways about it. Yes, you may have had an extra "boost" from fellow photographers here at Nikon Cafe, but the thing to remember is that those of us from here who voted were assessing the image far more critically than the average Joe Blow Point-and-Shooter from the station's viewing/catchment area -- and that really means something. :smile:
