I've had the honor of being the IFBB's photographer at the Mr. Olympia contest the last 4 years ! A couple weeks ago i was contacted by the Golds Gym in Venice Beach . They wanted to rekindle the tradition of hanging a photo of Ms. Olympia on their wall . Its in great company !

While I don't do bodybuilding, there are a few guys at my gym who compete and it takes quite a bit of discipline to sculpt your body. Awesome that your photo is on display to encourage others to achieve their goals and dreams! 👍

Terrific shot!!
Your image seems more black than the others hanging??
Did the older images fade? Were they shot in a different style without a true black point?
Just curious, I personally like the true blacks in an image.

The other photos have been hanging since the 1980's ! And they were shot with film .... way before photoshop ! lol

I shot with film in the 60-80's. You could certainly get a black close to what we get now with photoshop. The lighter blacks and greys were the more popular look then.
With correct chemistries and proper washing the prints should not fade, I have at least one black and white of mine still hanging from the 1970's without fading.
It was likely the style they wanted.
I like yours better---- but that is just an opinion.
