My wife got a wild hair. Was going to get food for our 3 cats and wound up adopting an 8 week old chihuahua-pug mix called a chug.
I've been laid up from going on photo escapades, so of course I had to shoot my little new doggy.

1. - first hour in our home.

3. I've been reading up on lighting some, so I actually set this one up a little. Moved the cat stand away from the wall, used my sb600 to light the backround for a seamless white backround, and tried to aim the light from the window on the subject. Still had barely enough light at iso 200 but had catchlights. :)

5. This shot had to be cropped pretty heavily to get the effect. I love this interaction between the dogs. I guess I have to spend more time with my stomach in the grass. :) Maybe next time I'll use a telephoto lens and get the lady to stay away from her dog more.
