These are some shots from that day.

I used a combo of my D600 50mm and D5100 with a 70-300mm. The 70-300mm was not a DX lens, so, to the experts here, did that make those shots a 110-450mm?

These shots were a lot harder to take than I ever thought. The indoor shots with halogen, florescent, and incandescent bulbs everywhere...really screwed up my shots.

Great shots.

Auto white balance in camera raw resolves the colour issue in #1 :smile:

Better question is why would anyone want to jump out of a perfectly okay airplane? :biggrin:

That was the question the guy next to me asked our company commander in 1970 when the Captain suggested that we go to Ft. Benning jump school. Seemed like a pretty wise answer to me at the time. Haven't seen the need to reconsider in the past 43 years.

Don't you realize that there are NO perfectly good airplanes?

Nice photos, I too jumped, it was worth it, I would do it again.
