I must take a look at those Acratech clamps: but do they have a secondary Safety lock switch?

The secondary Safety release switch on the Manfrotto rectangular clamps was some thing which I always made sure to lock and I am very surprised that all quick-release clamps do not have such an essential feature.

Yes, they do. If you look closely at the picture, the lever will not release until you are holding down the "lock release", I'm not sure what they call it. Important part is you can yank on the lever all you want, and if you are not pushing the release, the lever won't release.

Acratech's Locking Lever Clamp seems to be exactly what I would choose if I was buying Arca clamps for the first time now.
Unfortunately I need at least four of them and, at $150 each, that becomes a rather expensive venture so I reckon that I might have to stay mostly with my screw-tightening clamps.
