    Two little critters well spotted here Tom, nicely done.

    In terms of constructive criticism I'd suggest that you crop the first image, there is a bit too much dead space around the subject for my taste.

  8. Nice shots! Have you tried one or more tubes or the Canon 500D to get a bit closer? I use both on my 70-200VR and 70-300VR and like the results. It saves me from taking my Sigma 150mm with me on these trips.
     
  9. I have the kenko DG set but haven't tried it with this lens. Will give it a shot today and see if they work well.
